1. Dylan Juarez
My name is Dylan Juarez. I am currently 18 years old and soon to be 19. I have lived in the city of Fullerton my entire life and have grown a deep appreciation for it. I currently work as a server on the weekends while dressing up as a pirate. My interests include playing games, consuming anime/manga, and spending time with my friends. I don’t particularly have many dislikes.I like being involved in extra curriculars because it allows me to be myself. I enjoy the cooperation between people and I adore being able to work towards something together. Being a part of AS not only can I meet new people I can do something alongside them. Which led me from the first day I walked into the senate, to want to be the President of Associated Students. As much as I’d love to say I have all the details for next years plan figured out, I only have a vision of what I hope to achieve; however, in the very process of running for president I have created a board that I feel can support me and can figure out the plan for next year together. I will pursue the path and role of AS president with my full effort and hope to leave behind a legacy of leadership. In all honesty I wish to enjoy every second of it and have fun alongside everyone in making Fullerton college an even better experience. Let’s all enjoy the process.
2. Ghassan Assaad
3. Joy Baik
My name is Joy Baik and I am running for President of Student Senate. While working multiple jobs and volunteering, the most intriguing parts are hearing about people’s lived experiences. As a student, hearing stories has been captivating but, as president, I not only want to listen, but act. As a current club president and previous leadership roles, I have been taught the importance of communication, detail, and empathy. These qualities have made my leadership skills build a foundation. During my term, I plan on:
-Creating wellness rooms around campus that includes stress-reducing tools and easier access to peer-support for students mental wellbeing.
-Helping online students feel connected with school life by pushing updates regarding school-life, and creating online communication lounges where peers can help one another.
-Creating easy ways to find programs and opportunities in relation to students’ careers by posting flyers or sending out emails regarding new openings in extracurriculars.
My ultimate end goal during my term is for you all to be able to feel empowered to speak up. A quote that I live by is, “Be the change you wish to see in the world. ”- Gandhi. It is seen as a personal growth statement, however, I believe true evolution is done through community. I wish to see others speak up without fear. By electing me, you would be electing someone who truly cares about not just your school needs- but also your personal needs. Every voice matters and your voice will be heard. Thank you.
4. Julieta Gonzalez
Hey Hornets! It’s Julieta Gonzalez and you may already know me as this year’s Student Vice President, but this next school year I’m hoping to aim higher! I am officially running to be your President of the Student Senate.
Over the past year, I’ve learned that being Vice President at Fullerton College is more than just a title. I’ve really immersed myself in everything Fullerton has to offer, from finding the best matcha spots to genuinely connecting with this campus and its community. Through those experiences, I’ve grown into what it truly means to lead and represent students.
With my team, we came across countless obstacles and roadblocks that heavily impacted our campus. But with thoughtful thinking and problem-solving, we always figure out a way to our goal. As Vice President, I already have the experience of fighting for things that matter to you. I am ready to step up and take on more responsibility. I have so much love for this campus and its students.
One of my best accomplishments this year was using my platform to address important issues that affect our community and essentially, our school. I made a statement against ICE, addressing students’ concerns with parking and actively working towards further STEM student representation. More importantly, I’ve empowered students to advocate for themselves, encouraging them to take pride in mastering their coursework.
As your Presidential candidate, I will continue to build a campus where every student feels welcomed, represented and eager to learn. I will always listen to all students’ concerns and will actively do my best to resolve the issues that matter the most to you.
I promise to make this campus flourish and I would be more than honored to have your vote!

I plan to promote athletic programs more effectively and encourage greater student participation across campus.
In addition, student safety is a top priority for me. I aim to advocate for improved safety regulations in the parking lot near the tennis courts, where many students have expressed concerns. Every student deserves to feel safe and secure while on campus, and I will work closely with campus officials to ensure those concerns are addressed.

Among other candidates who are eager to take the position of VP of Finance, I, Kevin Hernandez Perez, look forward to demonstrating why you all should consider me. The Finance Committee focuses on setting the annual Student Senate Budget and administers all funds for the Student Senate funding other committees and events. Seeing the great amount of work the finance committee dedicated themselves, I feel motivated to manage and focus on augmenting student life in Fullerton College with prioritizing services, departments, and club related events. With the help of future representatives and senators that YOU can be part of, we could plan, record, and track budgets throughout different sectors and areas of the school. Now what are my qualifications? I am part of and have participated in Associated Students since 2026 Fall being a representative of the RPR, Judicial, and Activities committee. I have experience on how committees are managed. From RPR and Judicial, I saw how planning and action was managed and contributed. In the Judicial, I contributed to the revision and edited a 30+ page governing document known as the ByLaws with Dylan Juarez taking lead. In the Activities committee, I’ve volunteered for club rushes and other events like Dia de los Muertos. Did I ever say I like to take on challenges? As a STEM student, I learned to persevere. During my time here, I helped organize and plan events for our campus such as the, “speed friend making event, ” and the study session days. If chosen to be your VP of activities, I hope to continue to push more of these events out, as well as listen to your voice, and suggestions, in order to come up with new experiences that will effectively connect everyone together in order to create a more fun, interesting, and memorable campus.

5. Cody Sova
My name is Cody Sova, and I am a psychology pre-med student here at Fullerton College. I am running for Vice President of Activities so that I can help create an environment where students are genuinely excited to be a part of campus. As Vice President of Activities, I would want the student body to know that my focus is on bringing more engaging events to campus and ensuring that students know about them. I believe that clearer, better communication means that more people can take advantage of the opportunities around campus and get involved, as well as meet new people and enjoy their time. I want one of my priorities to be about student input. I want to create more ways for students all across campus to share their ideas and have a real role in shaping our campus activities. In addition to these goals, I am very passionate about building a stronger sense of community here at Fullerton College. I can do this in a few different ways, one is working with clubs to host more collaborative events, and the second is advocating for a more inclusive campus experience, whether that means better dietary options, more welcoming spaces, or making sure all students feel represented. 3. Dana Rose Crystal
I am Dana Rose Crystal, long-time re-entry student with experience in student government and various courses. I want to serve the school, district and community in which I live and work. I came to Fullerton College to gain skills and education not only to earn a living but to participate in society; I want my voice heard, especially where it is needed. Everyone needs to become involved with their community and be open to hearing the needs and views of others. We are all in the same “lifeboat” planet Earth, so all are stakeholders in its present and future. As a long-time re-entry student, with multiple majors to complete, I have an especially strong need for involvement. Student government is meant for us to share in decision-making such as hiring personnel, funding of programs which need a knowledgeable, and unintimidated student voice. The Student Trustee is empowered to speak on behalf of all students; to advocate for improvements in our education and for teachers and staff who genuinely support us. I’d advocate for empowerment of ALL students. Many are vulnerable and marginalized, and intimidated from seeking help and guidance. Each student must be recognized as a real person, with a real face/identity and individual struggles and needs. No one should have to fear for their safety, nor be marginalized in society nor employment nor in education. I support genuine diversity: everyone gets a seat at the table with their voice heard and concerns addressed. Please elect me as Student Trustee.
